Privacy Policy

This is a personal portfolio website. There are no accounts, no tracking, no ads, and no third-party scripts loaded in the background. Here is the full picture of what happens with your data when you visit.

Contact form

If you fill in the contact form, I receive your name, email address, and message – the same as if you had emailed me directly. I use it only to reply. Messages are not shared with third parties except where required by the hosting and email infrastructure, and are deleted after up to 12 months. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Server logs

The hosting server automatically records standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, browser type, timestamp) as part of normal server operation and security. I don't analyse these logs beyond diagnosing server errors.

YouTube videos

Some pages embed YouTube videos. They use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and only load when you choose to play them. At that point your browser connects to YouTube directly – Google's privacy policy applies from there.

Everything else

No cookies. No analytics. No advertising. All fonts, icons, and scripts are served from this server.

The site remembers your language choice in your browser's local storage (the suggestion itself is based on your browser's language setting, not your location or IP). This preference never leaves your device.

Your rights

You may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, as applicable under data protection law. To make a request, write to contact@piotrgalazka.pl. I will respond without undue delay and at the latest within one month.

If you feel your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority: UODO (uodo.gov.pl).
